Broncos' Russell Wilson says he 'let the team  down' in OT loss

On Thursday night, Denver  Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was still extolling the virtues of chance and faith.

Wilson, however, was unapologetic about his performance following a humiliating 12-9 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts in which he threw two interceptions.

At the end of the day,  Wilson stated, "I've got to  be better, I've got to play better."

"Tonight, the defence played stoutly, and we had some crucial successful drives.

Ultimately, throwing two interceptions is not possible.  Can't occur. I disappointed the squad tonight."

With just over two minutes left in regulation, Wilson threw his second interception.

With more than two minutes remaining in overtime, the Broncos, including Wilson and coach Nathaniel Hackett,  decided not to get a first down in favour of going for the victory.

Wilson said, "We had a good play called on. Guy made a good play.
