Meet the new DC superheroes taking on Dwayne Johnson's  Black Adam

So, in the absence of Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League, who is stopping a  beefed-up Dwayne Johnson?

In the superhero picture "Black Adam," which stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular character, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher all make  their screen debuts.

One of the "bold" elements of  the film, according to Johnson,  is this new organisation. "There  are figures in the DC universe's holy book that a lot of people  are going to like,"

Amanda Waller assigns Carter Hall, a leader who oversees  the supergroup from his cutting-edge Louisiana headquarters, the duty of dealing with Black Adam.

He has the necessary tools for  the job—a recognisable helmet and mace, impressive wings  and armour, and the  understanding that he has  lived many lives before back  to prehistoric Egypt.

Hodge, 36, a lover of superhero comic books since his early fascination with Batman,  describes him as "an elegant savage."

In his role as James Bond,  Brosnan possessed a death warrant. As Kent Nelson, he currently wears an antique  alien helmet.

The 69-year-old Irish actor also mentions his Doctor Strange co-star Benedict Cumberbatch in a Marvel reference:

As a result of a wicked scientist's experimentation on Maxine Hunkel, the 19-year-old heroine  is suddenly able to control the wind with her mind.
