NBA fight between  Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors players spills  into stands

The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors game ended in a  physical altercation.

At FTX Arena in Miami, Florida,  on Saturday, Heat small forward Caleb Martin and Raptors rookie centre Christian Koloko  gotinto a brawl.

The event occurred with 7:46 remaining in the third quarter,  with the Heat leading 81-59 at  the time. Martin and Koloko fought for position beneath  the rim.

Koloko was knocked to the  ground after colliding with  Martin with his leg while boxing.

Martin was penalised for a  loose ball, but the situation worsened when he charged at Koloko and loomed over him.

Pushing started, and the altercation spread into the audience. Other players  separated the two players  as the first row spectators  were led from their seats.

Martin and Koloko were  both whistled for technical fouls  in addition to being ejected.

After the game, Martin observed, "There were a number of plays going up to that." It was an amateurish game.

Koloko remarked, "I just stood  up for myself and I was thrown out. That is what took place.

Coach Nick Nurse of Toronto stated that he anticipates the  NBA to look into what  transpired further.
