Patti LuPone explains that tweet that  caused a fury

Two pals claim there was a  grave mix-up in the new fantasy film "The School for Good and  Evil" on Netflix.

when one enrolls in a school  for villains while the other does  so in a school for heroes.

However, Patti LuPone claims  she is certain of the school  she will attend.

The Broadway legend makes  the quip that playing villains is always the most enjoyable because he is known for calling  out audience members on their cellphones during performances.

LuPone, who has a cameo in  the movie, went out on Tuesday with Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, and the rest of  the cast.

For its red carpet debut at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California, Sofia  Wylie and Sophia Ann  Caruso were in attendance.

As celebrities and influencers walked down the carpet, screaming fans crowded the sidewalk across the street.

The premiere occurs one day  after LuPone tweeted that she  had resigned from her  Equity card.

which mentions her  membership in the professional theatre actors' organisation, Actors' Equity Association.

Fans of Tony Award winner LuPone, who has portrayed  classic roles such as Reno Sweeney and the main character  in "Evita," were shocked by the decision and filled with speculation.
